Located in the center of a pine thicket, West Scottsville United Methodist Church truly is a church in the wildwood.
As we gather for worship, we see God's handiwork in the canvas of nature and hear His voice each time the wind rustles the needles of the pines, evergreen symbols of growth and eternity.
Surrounded and inspired by the beauty of God's creation, we find His peace and seek His guidance; we study His word and respond to His call.
Our mission is to reach out, from amidst the tranquility of the pines, to share God's spirit with a lost and hurting world.
